How long do I have to wait after filing bankruptcy to buy a car?

I live in California and my husband and I are in the process of filing bankruptcy. It hasn’t been discharged yet. Can we buy a car with cash before the bankruptcy is discharged or do we have to wait until it is discharged?

    No because the Trustee will cancel the bankruptcy because you withheld information
